50 YEARS OF OMRA - COWES UIM - A-X ENDURANCE RACE

Supported by RED FUNNEL and endorsed by the BPRC
OMRA returns to Cowes for 2021 alongside the BPRC Cowes-Torquay race. This is the official race to celebrate 50 years of the association and is FREE entry to all members past and present.
With a new Shootout format to emulate the F1 style as follows:
Q1 - Each Class runs for 6min, no mill time. Any number of boats can run (up to 6 on the water). The top 4 fastest boats (fastest lap) will progress to Q2.
Q2 - The 4 Fastest Boats will run for 3 mins with a 2 min mill time, the 2 fastest will progress to Q3.
Q3 - The Final - The 2 fastest boats will go head to head for the Shootout Victory. 3 mins on the water and 1 min Mill time.
Note: should a boat be non running from one heat to the next then the next fastest boat will be promoted up into the session. If there are only 4 boats or less in each class heat then boats will progress directly to Q2.

11am - A-X Shootout Q1 Rounds
12:30pm - Q2 and Q3 Finals
2pm - Racing ends approximate time

10:15am - Drivers meeting
10:30am - A-X Heat 1 Endurance Race
12:30pm - Lunch
1pm - A-X Heat 2 Endurance Race
3pm - Racing Ends - Presentations

TRAVELLING TO COWES
Ferry Crossing
OMRA Cowes 2021 is supported by Red Funnel. As this is bank holiday weekend we encourage early booking for crossing and accomadation. A 20% discount for cars on Red Funnel is applicable for racers. Please send vehicle registration on entry for the discount Code.
Parking
There is plenty of Parking available on the parade next to the race location at Trinity Landing.
Toilets
Public toilets are less than 70m from the race location
